چکیده

In this paper, we present extensions of the Hatzopoulos–Sagianou (2020) (HS) multiple-component stochastic mortality model. Our aim is to thoroughly evaluate and stress test HS model by deploying various link functions, using generalised linear models, diverse distributions in model’s estimation method. work, differentiate approach modelling number deaths Binomial commonly employed literature modelling. Given this, new are derived off-the-shelf namely complementary log–log, logit probit, while also reform introducing a form functions with particular focus on use heavy-tailed distributions. The above-mentioned enhancements conclude methodology for model, prove that it more suitable than those used dynamics. regard, our work offers an extensive experimental testbed scrutinise efficiency, explainability capacity both newly introduced over datasets different characteristics. bring improvement approximately 16% goodness-of-fit, they uncover fine-grained age clusters. addition, compare performance against other well-known under fitting forecast modes. results reflect advantageous features deliver highly informative structure enable attribution identified trend unique cluster. improvements analysts perform in-depth detailed investigation trends specific clusters can contribute attempts academia industry tackle uncertainties risks increasing life expectancy.

mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model

over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...

Model checking probabilistic and stochastic extensions of the -calculus

We present an implementation of model checking for probabilistic and stochastic extensions of the -calculus, a process algebra which supports modeling of concurrency and mobility. Formal verification techniques for such extensions have clear applications in several domains, including mobile ad hoc network protocols, probabilistic security protocols, and biological pathways. Despite this, no imp...

a study on insurer solvency by panel data model: the case of iranian insurance market

the aim of this thesis is an approach for assessing insurer’s solvency for iranian insurance companies. we use of economic data with both time series and cross-sectional variation, thus by using the panel data model will survey the insurer solvency.

the effect of using model essays on the develpment of writing proficiency of iranina pre-intermediate efl learners

abstract the present study was conducted to investigate the effect of using model essays on the development of writing proficiency of iranian pre-intermediate efl learners. to fulfill the purpose of the study, 55 pre- intermediate learners of parsa language institute were chosen by means of administering proficiency test. based on the results of the pretest, two matched groups, one as the expe...
